So, i tried the following: -I reinstalled the drivers -> nothing happened. -I used System Restore to restore Win8 to 1 week ago (when the card was working) -> nothing happened.

So the games does not work in 5.1? Why is DTS not listed here? What should I do to the card give 5.1 sound during movie and games? To make things clearer. To enable S/PDIF DTS encoding for the Xonar DSX card you need to enable it in ASUS or C-Media Panel. While in Windows Sound panel, you need to have Speakers (ASUS Xonar) set as default playback and not the S/PDIF Pass-through Device.
Any solution? I tried this but didn't work •. It would be very appreciated and, as I think fine donated, if you developed such unified drivers for Mac OS X for ASUS Xonar series. Actually, I was told that ASUS isn't planning any development of drivers for Mac OS X. I think that many users of Macs and Hackintosh builds would donate enough to support such project. I have to use my old Creative Audigy SB1394 with ancient (2009) kX drivers that don't allow Mic input and Line in. So this way is very limited for me to use.
Until i played CS GO. I got microstuttering all the time.

Asus Xonar Unified Driver
I took the Xonar out, and now the problem is gone. 
I was wondering if this is a driver issue, should I revert back to an older version of the driver? Or do you think it’s a hardware issue as in my card finally going bad after 6.5 years? BTW, thank you for supporting the Xense for so long. I think it’s unlikely that this is a driver issue. You could try installing any driver below 1.81 and disable the card in device manager before shut down and see if your system will shutdown properly or not. Maybe it has to do with a compatibility issue between your motherboard and the Xonar card.
Xonar Drivers Windows 10
So I tried reinstalling the driver I have been using the last 3 months without problem, v1.71 r2 (Newer versions gave me BSOD, I’m running Windows 10 Creators update (not fall yet)) this didn’t help either. So I plugged my headphones into the built in sound card on the motherboard for now which works fine. I have had my pc freezing with a loud buzzing sound in my headphone/speaker whenever I was playing games. This completely locks out the computer, the system does not respond to any mouse movement or key presses. This happens randomly and it is possible that it does not occur for several days and after that it appears again. And the only way to get out of the freeze is to hard reset the computer. I am using a Xonar DGX, having speakers connected to the speakers output and headphones using the S/PDIF port.
