This is what i did and it works fine. I used driver version 96.85 from this site Download driver and modified INF file, extract driver to your local drive then replace current INF file. After this is done click on setup.exe in Nvidia folder, after setup is done your card will be listed as Nvidia PCI express card. Hope this helps!
If it doesn't have a sliding 'write protect' switch on it as shown in step 2, try step 5 or step 6 on this page: Small sd cards have a small slider in the case itself. Flash drives may have partitions on the drive itself. One or two of these small partitions may have write protection on them that cannot be removed. If you have too much trouble, put the flash drive in a usb slot, wait for it to be recognized. Open the control panel and open administrative tools. Click on computer management and then in the left lower pane, click disc management. In the right pane, there will be a window that shows and lists all the drives and partitions.

Besides the GPU, the video memory specs (including video memory type, size and clock speed), interface (AGP or PCI Express), and I/O ports are should all be taken into account before purchasing a video card.
Tried it on a tyan 2882 and also a 2892 mombo. Even the NVS280 PCIe version failed to work on the 2892. Not listed as supported (vista) on the nVidia website.
I would like to get the other head going and the resolution up to the LCD native (1600x1200). As I see it, I have three options: • keep poking at things to see if I can get the Quadro and the internal to play nicely together. • cough up and buy something like a Quadro NVS 440 PCIe (up to 4 screens).

We have a lot of OP GX 620 desktops in our company with NVS 280 as video card, when we started deploying Win7 to these PC's we had same driver issue as most of you have.
