Frequently the drive becomes obsessed with trying to process a disk and prevents the disk from ejecting, forcing you to wait 5, 10, or 15 minutes for it to decide its done with the disk. Occasionally a disk gets stuck, but I think it's because of the software using the drive or the occasional bad disk, not the SuperDrive hardware itself. It's very easy to remedy - just unplug it, reboot, then reattach the drive. I do think a manual eject on the drive would be a good design improvement. Anyway, I'm buying a 2nd SuperDrive just in case Apple stops making them in deference to internet download technology. This is a problem when you insert a disc but the computer won't recognize it. Definitely not satisfied for the cost of this device.
