It came pre-bundled with an ASUS Windows 8.1 that I immediately wiped, to ensure I get a 'clean' install without any superfluous junk that the OEM decided that I would 'need'. It works when I connect my Logitech USB keyboard but the popup doesn't show up when I use the volume keys (with Fn) on my notebook. In the metro interface I don't see anything and in the desktop interface I see the same popup as in Windows 7. It would be nice if it just worked with the default Windows 8 interface and popup.

Been reading here and using win 10 from the outset. On latest build, updated this morning. This Elan touchpad driver keeps coming in through windows update and it just screws up my touchpad more than anything. When it loads up I can no longer use right or left click functions on the touchpad. I can find no way to stop the update. Is there any method for stopping a particular windows update from loading?
Navigate to Control Panel - > Programs and Features 2. UNINSTALL Elan Touch Pad (I'm pretty sure not doing this step, and only doing step 3, is why my driver was not updating correctly) 3.
